Sync TeamSnap with iCloud
Games and practices live in TeamSnap. Your phone, your Mac and your Watch show Apple Calendar. CalCollapse copies one into the other — every 15 minutes, one way — into an iCloud calendar you already have.
Why a TeamSnap schedule never quite arrives on an iPhone
TeamSnap will give you a calendar link. Apple Calendar will subscribe to it. What you give up is the calendar you already use:
- One subscribed calendar per team.Two kids on three teams is three extra calendars, each with its own on/off switch, none of them the family calendar you already share from iCloud.
- Apple refreshes when it feels like it.TeamSnap itself warns that some calendar apps lag a day behind a schedule change. A practice that moved at lunch still shows the old time on the way to the field.
- The link is only on the website.Schedule → Settings → Sync Calendar / Export lives on teamsnap.com, not in the app most parents actually open. You copy it once; after that the problem is where it lands, not how to find it.
CalCollapse reads that same TeamSnap feed and writes the events into an iCloud calendar you already own. From then on Apple Calendar is showing your own iCloud data — on every device signed in to that Apple Account, with no per-device setup and nothing to configure on the Watch.
How to get the URL, and where it goes
Copy the feed from TeamSnap on the web
Sign in at teamsnap.com (not the mobile app). Open the team, click the Schedule tab, then Settings → Sync Calendar / Export, and copy the calendar link. Repeat for each team, or copy the combined schedule if you use that.
Sign in with Apple and connect iCloud
Sign-in only identifies you. iCloud is a separate app-specific password from account.apple.com. Google is not required.
Paste the URL and pick a calendar you already have
Several teams can share the same iCloud calendar. Each feed keeps its own label. The first sync runs immediately, and every 15 minutes after that.
It cannot touch TeamSnap
The feed is read-only. Nothing in TeamSnap can be created, changed or deleted by this app. Schedule changes stay in TeamSnap, and the next sync picks them up.
Several teams, one family calendar
The usual setup is every kid’s teams landing in the same iCloud calendar the rest of the family already uses — not a stack of subscribed calendars nobody remembers to turn on.
What it will not do. Events flow one way, TeamSnap into iCloud. Editing a synced game in Apple Calendar will be overwritten on the next run. CalCollapse is not affiliated with TeamSnap.
What it costs
One calendar syncing into iCloud is free, which is enough for a single team. Collapsing several teams at once needs the unlimited plan. Billing is handled by Stripe; card details never reach this app.

Does this copy a TeamSnap schedule into Apple Calendar?
Yes. TeamSnap publishes each team's schedule as a webcal feed. CalCollapse reads that feed and writes the events into an iCloud calendar you already have, so Apple Calendar — and the Watch, and anything else reading EventKit — sees games and practices as your own iCloud data.
Where do I find the TeamSnap calendar URL?
On the TeamSnap website, not in the mobile app: sign in, open the team, go to the Schedule tab, then Settings → Sync Calendar / Export, and copy the link. If you are on several teams, repeat for each, or copy TeamSnap's combined schedule link if you use that. Paste whichever you copied into CalCollapse.
Why not just subscribe in Apple Calendar?
You can, and TeamSnap documents that path. Each team then becomes its own subscribed calendar, Apple refreshes it on its own (often slow) schedule, and none of them is the family calendar you already share. CalCollapse writes every team you paste into one existing iCloud calendar instead.
Can several teams land in the same iCloud calendar?
Yes. Paste one feed per team — or TeamSnap's combined schedule — and point them at the same destination. Each keeps its own label so a soccer practice and a baseball game are still distinguishable once they sit in one place.
Do I need to connect Google?
No. After iCloud, paste the TeamSnap URL. Google is a separate source if you also have work or personal calendars to collapse; it is not required for TeamSnap.
Will this change anything in TeamSnap?
No. Events flow one way, from the feed into iCloud. Editing a synced event in Apple Calendar does not push back; it is overwritten on the next run. Schedule changes have to be made in TeamSnap.
How current does the iCloud copy stay?
Changes reach iCloud every 15 minutes. You can also trigger a run yourself from the dashboard. Apple's own subscribed calendars often lag hours behind a practice that just moved.
